A whole lot of nothing!
Sorry for no update over the weekend, I was so busy…………..oh wait, no I wasn’t I did absolutely fuck all! ALL weekend it was ace!

Saturday had a lovely lie in til almost 12 o’clock, spent the day faffing around the house, did a bit of washing and then just caught up with my Sky+ planner.

Had a nice chicken curry for dinner, cheated a bit & used a ready-made paste, but it was my lazy day! I did roast the chicken though, so a bit of hard work.

Sunday, N cleaned the car, well the inside anyway & I stayed in side & watched In her Shoes, I’d read the book a few years ago and so was a little dubious as most books that are made into films are never as good, but I was pleasantly surprised. Had a little cry at some parts, but that is mostly due to that fact that this week is my period and that always makes me a bit more emotional, but all in all it was worth a watch, I don’t think I’d have paid to go to the cinema to watch it, but for free on TV, not bad.

Looking forward to the Bank Holiday, it only seems about 5 minutes since we had the last one, not that I’m complaining, an extra day off work is always welcome.

Really need to get down and start to finalise some planes for the wedding, we’ve chosen the florist, just need to remember to send in the deposit cheque.

It’s not for another 18 months, but I’m such a control freak that I’ve been organising things for months now, we think we’ve got the guest list sorted, we’re on a pretty tight budget so we’re trying to limit it to about 30 for the service & the breakfast, and about 70 ish for the function. Although if N had his was we’d have about 150 for the evening function!

I’ve designed the invites & just need to sort the numbers once and for all & then order them, but the control freak in me doesn’t want to order them and then change the list, but I suppose they’re so cheap at the moment I might just order extra of each and then I’ll have enough just in case.
